Dennis Blazier (Pastor D) has been our Associate Pastor since June of 1999. He is a native of Knoxville and graduated from Central High School in 1973. He married Susan Seymour of Powell, TN in September 1973. They have two children: Kevin and TerriAnn, and four grandchildren. He graduated from Berea College in 1981 and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1985.
While in seminary, he was ordained at Glenwood Baptist Church and served as pastor of Posey Community Church in Indiana. He served as pastor of Glade Spring Baptist Church in Glade Spring, Va. from July 1985 -September 1997. While in Virginia, he served as a trustee of Virginia Intermont College and as an associational representative on the Virginia Baptist General Board. He also was an adjunct professor at Virginia Highlands Community College.
His favorite Bible verse is Galatians 6:9: “ Be ye not weary in well doing for in due season ye shall reap if you faint not”.

Chad Williams

Chad Williams was born in Dayton, OH on Wright-Patterson Air Force base. His family having a military background resided in Ohio and Arkansas while he was growing up. After his family retired from the military, they moved to Kingsport, TN where he graduated from Sullivan Central High School in 1996. He attended ETSU for one year before taking time off. He then transferred to King College in Bristol, TN where he played baseball for four years. He graduated in 2002 with a B.A. in Youth Ministry and History with a minor in Bible and Religion.
After graduation he took a position at Faith Baptist Church in Durham, NC where he remained for 3 years. He came to Sharon in March of 2006 and in May of 2006 married Jennifer, who is a Registered Nurse. Chad and Jennifer have 2 sons Nate and Peyton.
His favorite verse is Matthew 6:34 and he loves Mexican food!
